short barrel 45/70 loads ?

Anyone have some good load recipes for a 45/70 using a short barrel. Recently had my 45/70 shortend to 16.75 inches to make it handle better. I was thinking of using some loads data for a tc pistol or some thing like that any thoughts?

Current load
Powder- H335
Charge-68gr
Bullet-300gr jhp
Primer-Fed215 magnum
Brass-Hornady
Crimp-no
Velocity-2405fps (24"barrel)

Good old 4198... Hard to beat it in 45/70. Win LR primers and you are gtg for the most part... the remington 405gr bullet also pretty good medicine

any load that gives top velocitys in a 24 inch 4570 will probably be the top velocity load in your 16 inch gun and would probably be fastest even in a 4570 handgun.
