I have both Shooters and Isnipe ballistic apps and I am confused if I enter the same data into both apps example ; 3006 168 gr vld Berger bc .473 800 yards 2887 f/s and all the other info This is what they tell me
Path. Moa. WindD Vel energy. Time
Isnipe -183.74. 21.93. 45.4. 1360. 690 1.22
Shooters -168.7. 21.9. 41.8. 1481.8. 818. 1.165

Shouldn't the numbers be a lot closer one would think

It's just the difference in the mathematical formulas developed for each. Go shoot and record your drop then see which one matches your findings better and use that one. I've found shooter to be spot on for me though.
