Shipping to a gunsmith

Since a license holder is required to fill out the form they may ask them to open it to prove it is unloaded. If a non license holder ships a long gun and doesn't tell them it is a gun I doubt they would ask you to prove it is unloaded. Do as you like with shipping. I will follow the law as required.

Since this is the handgun section it would more than likely be a handgun you are shipping so definitely go through your local FFL. Your dealer can mail it with a flat rate box if it will fit. Either way USPS is going to be cheaper since FedEx and UPS are now requiring air shipments of firearms through dealers. They have us by the shirt and curlies

I've shipped rifles through the US Postal System on a few occasions. I have always stated that it was a firearm in the box and that it was headed to an FFL for service. I have never been asked to fill out any paperwork or asked any questions regarding the safety (loaded - unloaded) of the firearm. They just weigh and measure the box before whacking my credit card.

Before UPS changed their policy, I would ship firearms and ammo all the time from a local UPS Store. Then they hired some young Liberal Kids and had all sorts of issues. Not only on a complete firearm, but parts as well.
A UPS Store kicked back a package I was sending, a shotgun barrel going in for porting.
Just a barrel, nothing else.
Got a phone call to come and pick it up. So somehow they were able to scan/x-ray it? Apparently gun parts were not acceptable at this location.

They don't need XRay.
If there is anything in the Address that would refer to a Firearm Manufacture or Gun shop the clerks might pick that up as sending firearm related items. Example you sending something to a FFL or Gunsmith.
Rod's Gun & Takle Shop
Wilson's Custom Rifles
McGowen Precision Barrels
Magana Port
Lee's Precision Barrels
Bob's Gunsmithing

Thant is why we left out anything to do with firearms or service in our business name. "Coyote Shadow Tracker, LLC."

Liberals do not need to change firearm laws to get rid of the 2nd. It can be done by chipping away on how we get firearms just like these new shipping rules. Our Country is losing.
Within two more Generations the USA will be a bonified Socialist State. Most all teachers in schools are liberals. Look at all the 20 to 30 year old people now. They think they should all work from home (those that do work), it should be a (4) hour work day. School should be free, Medical Free, food/utility subsidies, everything ELECTRIC, TAX all the large Corp. It's a fantasy world.
The USA is a REPUBLIC and rapidly changing to a Socialist State. The Roman Republic began around 509 BC and lasted until 27 BC. Hence, the Roman Republic lasted for around 482 years. In contrast, the United States is only 246 years old, dating to 1776 AD. We can regard the Roman Republic as the most successful republic because it spawned the Roman Empire.
How long do you think we will stay a Republic?
