More impressed than your 6.5ss? My ss has close to 1100 rounds on it and it’s the og barrel. It was riches first 6.5 ss barrel.
The 6.5SS is my favorite cartridge I have ever shot. It still outruns the 6.5PRC/SI.
If I could only build one, it would be the SS.

Who wins?
True SA=SS
XM or LA=SI
Brass choices=SI
Headstamped brass=SS
No need to fire form=SS
Velocity=SS (barely)

If you already have a PRC, the SI is much easier to run and clean up the chamber. The SS would require a set back/tenon/re-time/chamber.

Yousay it outruns the 6.5 PRC. ??? TYell me how.I have a6.5 PTRC I used to shoot in Long Range Shooting.
I Went to a 300 PRC & then to a 30 Sherman Magnum, then to 33XC and now 375 Cheytac. I'd ;like to use the 6.5PRC again ifI could for my son.Tell me about your 6.5SS .Thanks

The 6.5SS outruns the 6.5PRC by quite a bit. Just more case volume. There is no replacement for displacement.

Is anyone forming their own brass for the 25 SST and if so what are you starting with?

Not much out there on the 300 mega. Been looking and nothing really. Looking at the long action reamer. Anyone make one yet bullet range 212 to 230?

I've talked to him about it but there's still not much info out there. The other calibers there is tons of people loading for them posting that's all I was curious about
