Also interested in a 300 or 338 Mega - as a single shot on a short-action. Love my 6.5 Max BTW.
@elkaholic Any update on the timing for 338Mega brass, dies and medium length action reamer? Going to cleanup my 338ss and going to see how fast we can get the 213HH moving.

Update on the 300 MEGA.
Finally got a 300 running. Ill let the builder post most of the data so I'm not accused of exagerating
Very early results with WW brass and a 215 Berger running above 3000' with H1000 and no pressure signs to speak of but out of capacity. (Probably near max with WW brass though) 26" barrel.
RL 26 will no doubt run above 3050 even with WW brass, and likely near 3100' with ADG.
ADG head stamp coming in December.
So far the 7 mm and 300 are running at or above predicted! The 338 will be least likely to make predicted, but we'll see?
I knew it would be the most difficult to break 3000 with a 250.
My 7 is running along shooting .2's at 3180 with 175's and going strong at 8 firings on brass

What is the barrel length of the 300 mega? As you know I'm looking at building a 20" mega....Update on the 300 MEGA.

I am getting close on my 300 Mega load with N565. I have tried H1000 as well. Both are identical. Today I tried N560 but I didn't load enough to get up there in speed. I was personally looking for something in the low 2900's with accuracy from stable single base powders. I have owned standard 300 WSM'S, and you can not run H1000 or N565 without running out of room. This load is 2.5 gains below max and has shot this group the last few times. I know RL26 and N560 can add quite a bit for speed. But I am very happy with a 215 Berger going 2910 from a 26" barrel. I only had Winchester brass to work with. A little seating depth work and she should come in some more.
