Sharing COVID-19 vaccination personal experience

My bride and I will get 2nd Pfizer shot tomorrow (27 Feb). We have not had any negative results from 1st shot. Hopefully 2nd shot results will be the same. Good to hear that so many are doing well. Tommyt

My only experience with the vaccines so far is via my Mom. She got the Pfizer shots in January; first dose included injection site soreness (typical of flu shot or other vaccines), second dose caused flu like symptoms for a day or so then abruptly stopped as quickly as they started. Fine since.

I did the Moderna shots. I didn't have any problems with the first one. The second one hit me pretty good in the middle of the night. I was shoveling snow the next day in between feeling tired
. GTG.

I got my second Moderna shot on Sunday...small lump and minimal soreness...nothing else. Although I have never been officially diagnosed, I believe I may have had Covid in September while in Europe for 2 months. Because of my US citizenship, I did not really have medical options in their socialist system. I have before and since tested negative every time tested. My Fiancée, who lives there, also had a day or two of symptoms but when she got her shots, she had lightly pink spot but no other symptoms.

Wife and I got 2nd Moderna shot on 26th, next day almost exactly 24 hours we both got low grade fever of 100.3 or so. Some chills. Two hours later, fever gone, chills gone, slept thru nite and woke up like nothing happened. Really no big deal at all for a 65 and 70 year old. The mild response was worth the potential mitigation of future infections.
