hi my name is William Lyman.. As many have seen my last name on various books and orange reloading equipment. That used to be my families business.. I was named after the great inventor William Lyman who founded the lyman gunsight in middlefield Conn.. I hope to meet chat and pick brains with many of you.. I'm not much of a target shooter but love hunting and highly accurate hunting rifles good luck and shoot straight

Wow, my first 22 had a Lyman sight on it. My first reloading press (and I still have it)was a Lyman turret. Welcome!

I have a 1955 winchester pre 64 national match with a lyman 20x super dot on it... I also have a marlin 22 that they only made 11 of this one they changed the stock configureation of that has a lyman peep.. I was offered 4K for it when I was a kid... I still have it... Both came from the gun sight
