Here i have for sale or trade my dearly beloved 280 ackley Remington 700 DM LA with machine work done to the bolt and handle by Kampfeld Custom Inc.
#5 Pac-Nor Stainless Super Match Barrel, 26", threaded,1:9 twist, fluted.(360 rounds through the barrel.) Pac-Nor said they "squared up" the action before the rebarrel. Triggertech primary trigger. Hawkins hybrid rings. It can come with the greboe terrain stock(tan) and greyboe m5 bottom metal for 1400, or 1600 with the stockys carbon m50(black/green)
I will include the scope for 500 on top.
Scope is a cabelas intrepid (vortex marked) made in Japan, 4.5-22x50 sfp vmr reticle, exposed turrets, 23oz. Will not sell separately.
Shoots easy .25"-.50inch groups at 100. I took a mule deer in 2020 at 517yrds with factory hornady precision hunter.
I love this gun, but my custom 6.5lb 7mag was finished, and proved itself on a bull elk at 675yrds this year. So I don't see myself using this 280ai. It was 9.5lbs as pictured in the stockys stock(black/green).
I am firm on price for selling as I am mainly looking for trades. I am open on trades, but I'm looking for a set of 12x binos + cash. I like guns, optics, if local colorado and you have a white topper for a tacoma that would be awesome.
