self aiming scope

I wonder how much they peed away on phase one..
That system was probably a remote aimed semi-stationary device, but required multi-men hi-logistics to deploy, and was therefore very un-sniperish and vulnerable.
Phase two, would utilize only one maybe two disposable men to deploy a transmitting weather station. With it, snipers could recieve ballistic factors integrated into their target bearing.

This is the very reason I've suggested to IBS members that they need to resist allowing ANY electronic assitance(easily disguised as 'wind flags' or 'scoring' systems) during matches.
I believe this sytem could be achieved within OUR means, very soon.

Gimme 6.5 mil $ and I'd put together a bunch of us LRH fellas and a really good contract and go get the job done bypassing all of the phase I & II crap and get right to implementation.

Hell, I'd embed with with the troops and pack my own weapon plus one spare, just in case.

In another couple of year I'm gonna be expendable any way.:D

The packgoats could even be included in the deal.:)
