Hi all, I am trying to make some .300 Weatherby Target Loads, using H 4831 and 165 Grn. Hornady SST Bullets. The problem I am having is that as I set the bullet to get a 3.550 Coal, the mouth of the case hits the cannelure of the bullet, and then the bullet slips down into the case mouth. Since I never use a bullet with a cannelure for any of my other loads, this presented a new problem. Either leave the COAL at 3.665 or when the bullet fall's in leave it at 3.320. I don't like either option. The diameter at the cannelure is narrower than the smooth portion of bullet above it and below it. Find another Bullet????
