I have a 260remington semi-auto and want to put a scope on it. Problem is I have read that some scopes can't handle the forward impulse of the bolt closing. Anybody know what scopes should be ok? I know SWFA scopes are ok with it but not sure about any other. Thanks

Good question. I know SWFA will hold up and they have a great warranty. I have heard of high end scopes failing eventually with autos. I just put a Sightron S-Tac on a POF 308. It has held up to about 200 rounds but we'll see how it goes in the long run. Nighforce is built to take abuse.

Burris Scopes are about the toughest I have found. all Of my hard kicking pistols wear a Burris.
and also my big Bores (.400+).

Light gathering is not as good as some other scopes, but if you stay under 8 or 9 power you won't
notice much difference.
