Scope rings

Another vote for the Burris sig rings with inserts.

Does anybody have suggestions on a set of scope rings $50 or under. They will be for a picatinny rail no MOA cant 1 inch tube. It'll be going on my 783 6.5 Creedmoor.

My vote for the 783 would be simple Burris Extreme 2 piece picatinny/weaver bases and the picatinny/weaver rings of your choice. Putting Seekins or other rail and rings on a 783 is like the proverbial putting lipstick on a pig.

Just to clarify, the 783's are available three ways: Tupperware stock with or without mounted scope, walnut stock with Weaver type bases and the Varmint model with laminate stock, 26" barrel and picatinny rail.
Synthetic heavy barrel 16.5 inch threaded 6.5 Creedmoor

I was also looking at a set of Leupold rings for like 48 bucks. And yeah she is a budget build that was the whole intent

I like to use 4 screw rings, Inexpensive and strong hold to scope and receiver. Very good stability. See picture added!

I agree with everyone else, you get what you pay for. However, the Burris zee rings or Weaver tacticals have done wonders for me. I have weaver tacticals on my rem 700 magpul .308 and on my savage 110 300 win mag. Both hold true. Zee rings and weaver tacticals are under $50. The weavers look mean too. Two pics of my rifles and one showing a little 3 shot group from my 300

Last year I replaced all of my Leupold rings and bases. 5 rifles...I'm all about budget.

Many here say you should buy one rifle, spend the money once, cry once! Buy the best of the best!

Great philosophy but I can't do the one rifle thing...I'm a more is better kind of gun owner.

Any way I've gone with EGW bases and and Vortex Tactical 30mm rings. I have the 5 rifles mentioned above plus two 6.5 Grendel AR's with those rings.

With a little over a years use, not one single screw has come loose.

I only shoot to 600yds and even with me doing the the shooting...my guns are all MOA or less at 600yds.

Oh...no marks on the scope either...I have one scope that is all scratched up from a Leopold ring coming loose.

There are other inexpensive GOOD rings you can buy. I mean come on! I have never paid $50 for a set of good scope rings in my life. I'm 68 years old and have been shooting since I was 17. See pictures attached. These cost under $20.00.

Cliff , I have a set of 1" rings I will give to you if you want them. Inside has been honed , probably Warne or Weaver Aluminum Tactical , 1 " 6 screw . They were on my old Savage short Mag. Patriot and never slipped . The bases will not work on your Remington but I will be happy to help you if you want them , will mail them at no cost . Let me know your thoughts if you are interested we need to talk and get your mailing address , you will need a cheap cheek riser for sight adjustment and I do not have a spare one or would be happy to give it to you. Cliff; Floyd has inspired me to offer you either one of the 2 sets of scope rings I have left on hand as shown below! They are all new and un-used! If you would send me your address I will ship them to you for free.

you added info to your OP-- its for a rem 783 budget/entry level rifle--I would ditch the rail that came with the rifle

the rail and rings and scope that come with the 783 are all junk IMHO

wish you well with the 783, they seem to be hit/miss, hope you all got good ones

What is wrong with the rail? I have 783 and the rail seems fine.
