I was just going over my rifle looking for anything loose or failed. I found that the front scope ring that turns into the base turns out and in with no force at all. These are Leupold bases and rings on a .338wm. I know that when you mount these things they take a specialized wrench to turn them in.
So, my question is if this is so easy to turn in and out could this be my problem? Also when the ring is turned in it over travels and does not line up with the rear ring/base.
