scope lost zero when maxed out

My beef is maybe I want to shoot the steel at 1250 at my range with my hunting rifle.
12 mils can take even a 6.5 creed to very near 1250.

I understand what you are saying, though in my experience the desire for people to "have it all" is often very disconnected from what things actually get used to do.

It isn't as if a 15x optic is going to be my number one choice for ELR target engagements anyway, so I firmly believe in more practical things leading my choices.

Yep, for sure.

For context, the post I to which I was responding stated that the gentleman is currently dialing 12 mil and holding more.
6CM
105 Hyb @ 3188fps
1400 yards is 11.7 MIL
1450 yards is 12.6 MIL (dial 11.1, hold 1.5)
1500 yards is 13.6 MIL (dial 11.6, hold 2.0)

A 15x scope with glass as good as a TT and tracks perfectly every single time is far more beneficial than a blurry 24x that tracks at 97% any day, all day, every day.
