scope choice

I 'm new here on this site and need info on scope choice. I'm on the east coast and have to most of my shopping on line fishing and surfing are big here not too much in the shooting sports. I have a 700 sps that I had rebarrled in 6.5x47 lapua and need a good scope. Is there guide lines I should follow in relation to what I have in the rifle cost wise?any help would be great
