would like to no what moa base are used for a given range. lets say 10,15,20,30moa thats what farrel makes for rem short action. id guess the flater shooting it is the less youd need just like to now what your tilt is and range its good for. thanks jason

decide your base slope by the scope you use. Say your scope has 95 moa total elevation range divide that by 2, allow maybe 5 moa at the bottom for adjustment and you could use say 45 degree scope base to get the full elevation capability of your scope. This example is from my 50bmg experience with a NXS 5.5 x 22 optics

Depends on the adjustment range of the scope, range you plan to shoot out to and the cartridge limits. Run the load you use through one of the programs and see how many MOA you need add in the available adjustment of your scope and then you can add the MOA of the sloped base.
