Savage standard or large shank--pic included

I believe I have a standard shank but wanted to see if you guys could help me verify from a pic I took. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looks like a standard shank to me . If it were a large shank there would be a step down just forward of the barrel nut.

I agree. Large shank nuts are also shorter.

A pipe wrench works best getting those smooth nuts off.

Reading the barrel is cheating.

How do you know that it isn't one of those rare large shank 308's built on a centerfeed RUM action?

One more.- Maybe it's a blued LRPV or Target action barrel.
