savage custom shop

Anybody know if savage custom shop would make the whitetail hunter in 260 with a 24'' barrel ? The drop in barrels I have seen dosnt have the contour of the whitetail hunter a straight taper 1'' something to .740 at the muzzle. or would they turn it for me ? thanks.

You can get a shilen pre-threaded and pre-chambered barrel in a similar contour for about $300 check out there site at Welcome to Shilen Rifles, Inc.

Savage custom just takes factory parts and puts them together for you. Easiest way to find out your questions is a quick phone call to them. They are good people and really want to put the gun you want together for you if they have the parts.
