Iv just purchased a savage arms model 10/110 ba 338 lapua mag and am wondering what sort of loads people are using to get the best accuracy at +1000 yards?

Inman.

My 111 FCP gets 2700 FPS and shoots with either 89.2 gr Retumbo, or 90 gr of H1000. Fed 215, Lapua brass, 300 gr Bergers. ES 10-15 FPS. Both loads shoot .5MOA, Retumbo producing several groups better which is what I settled on.

Haven't shot my 111 LRH at 1000 yet but here is 91.0 H1000 with Hornady brass, Hornady 285's and CCI 250 primers.

We determined the OCW with Retumbo and 300's to be 89.3 grains in Lapua brass... OAL preference will depend on the individual rifle... most are doing very well at 10 to 20 off the lands.

And you can do stuff like this with your cold clean bore shots, provided you use the right load recipe...

...and if your CCB is more than 1/2 minute from your follow up shots, you're using the wrong load recipe. ;)

Im using berger hybrid 300gr. With 90.5 grains vihta vuori n570. 2700 fps. The rifle shot .75 moa @ 100yrd. I took it out to a grand with 0-15 mph gusts and it did 8"-10" groups. Had some fliers. And the the spread on the loads was about 25 fps.
