Hi all,
I was hoping you-all (you-uns) could share some links/companies/products you know of for rebuilding Savage Model 12/10/110 rifles.

There's a Remington 700 part for everything under the sun, much harder to find Savage stuff.

Looking for pretty much anything other than the receiver ;-)
Barrels, triggers, lugs, stocks, rails, magazines, etc.

thanks for any info !

cdi makes a great detachable mag well, midway will show you different triggers with reviews to see if they fit your need. Hard to beat any PT&G products. B&C makes great stocks as does McMillan and Manners, you will have a wide variety between those 3. I always recommend Brux barrels to my customers. I can keep going if you would like haha

I have not done biz with SSS, but I did look up BBB.
Sharp Shooters Supply Business Review in Delphos, OH - Lima Ohio BBB

If that guy only has 8 complaints over the years of all that biz in gunsmithing, he is doing well.

One thing I CAN tell you is that the old guy is sharp [pun intended].
I read this
Savage Shooters - Understanding Bolt Lift Kits

If I were still in the engineering biz, I would try to hire him.

I have had Randy Ketchum do my gunsmithing that is over my head [TIG weld up gas fixtures for semi autos and TIG weld lugs on Semi auto pistol barrels]. He has always been great to work with. And he got hauled into court over stuff that was all the customer's fault for not knowing what they wanted.

All that means is that, only 8 made the time and effort to go the extra mile to get their dissatisfaction counted ... not a true reflection of total dissatisfied customers.

There was a recent a post about not dealing with him but I take it it got out of hand that it got poofed.

Anyways, a happy customer is a repeat customer ... but only with customer oriented business dealings. lightbulb
