My .308 Savage 99 C needs rebarrelling. I want a 22" octagonal barrel (Bartlein W/1:9 rifling in chrome moly steel).
For this I need a good gunsmith to take a .30 cal. barrel blank and:
1. thread it (square threads)
2. chamber it
3. cut flats for an octagonal barrel
4. add a forearm attachment stud (the easy part)
Which gunsmith can you recommend for this?
