Savage 6.5x284 and Barnes LRX?

I used a chronograph for the first time today. I am shooting a 6.5x284 LRH with 127 Barnes LRX bullets. My load is 44.6 grains of imr 4350. My elevation is 4222 and the temp was around 85 degrees. I was getting readings right around 2900 fps. Does that seem reasonable for this load? Judging from the sierra manual THEIR 120 grain bullets should get about 2900 with that load. I just haven't used a chronograph before and I am trying to work out my drops etc. and I want to make sure I am using it right.
