I'm looking for a 24-26" small shank barrel in .270 Win with a more aggressive rate of twist: 1:8-1:9 would be good. I have (and would like to trade) my 1:10 twist 24" factory takeoff. Would prefer blues/gloss, but open to options. I want the faster twist so that I can shoot 150gr class bullets accurately. I'm shooting 130's now, but I have a 6.5 Swede that shoots 120-130gr and I want something a bit bigger out of my .270.

It may not be a help to you but there is, what I thought to be, an excellent article on twist rates in the Mar/Apr 2021 issue if Rifleshooter.

FWIW.... My 270wby with 26" barrel has a 10tw and I shoot 150s accurately. I know a couple different variables there but just FYI.
