I am BRAND NEW to LR hunting. I purchased a factory Savage 116 Weather Warrior in 7mm Rem Mag / Leopold VX III with plans of hunting Elk, Antelope and Bear in CO, NM, ID or MT net year. I also am developing an interest in long range shooting. I am starting to wonder if I picked the wrong rifle platform as its almost impossible to find custom stocks for Savage LA rifles other than Choate or MDS Chassis. While I still have time to get out of the rifle, I thought I would ask????? Should I sell this rifle and start over with a Remington, Weatherby, or Howa ? Thanks for the help
