First off welcome to LRH its a great place to read up on this stuff... The quick answer to your question is No "Not without a lot of work" Measure the distance between you action screws and you will know. A Savage 112 is a long action=5.00 Most J actions are mid actions=4.53 A Savage 10/12 is a short action=4.3? You can see in the pic the difference in the screw spaceing the action requires. Top is 112/long , middle is a J/mid and bottom is a 10/11/12/short
You'll have to measure the screw spacing. Just because it is a "J" doesn't mean it is an intermediate action. It could be a regular long action. What caliber is it?
Thanks. And it is a 22-250 with a bull barrel boyds only had the 10/12 in bull barrel and the 110 in factory. ive looked and it wont fit the 110
Are you sure it is a bull? Many had a target contour barrel that was similar to a varmint contour. Here's a link to boyds intermediate stock with barrel inlet dimensions. CLASSIC SAVAGE 110 INTERMEDIATE ACTION TAPERED BARREL CHANNEL NUTMEG LAMINATE (SEMI-INLET)
