I found a 270 caliber savage 110 and I have converted it to 7mmwsm. I put the new action in my new stockage pdog special last night and was feeding some dummy rounds through. I noticed that the feed ramp could be a little better. I was thinking about removing some material and polishing it up. Has anyone done this? Anything else you would recommend to make the feeding a little smoother? I noticed the bullet was getting a little scratched up.
What about the magazine follower? It seems to work just fine but I'm not sure if there is one specifically made for the wsm or ultra mag cases.
