Hi guys, a newbie here.
My dad is going on a safari next year and will be taking a 300 H&H and a 300 RUM. I don't have much experience loading for these big cases. The guys he is going with like to use the Barnes 250 grain bullets going at about 2500 to 2600 fps.
What kind of powder and load do you guys recommend for this type of situation using the Barnes 250 grain bullet? I would think we would need a temperature insensitive powder since I'll be working up loads anywhere from 40 to 80 degrees and he'll be hunting around 100 degrees.
