Rule of thumb for throat erosion?

Is there a rule of thumb for how much the lands move forward per number of rounds fired?

No there isn't.
There is no rule about the affects per .xxx erosion either.

This is true, but certain powder types have shown to reduce the rate that throat erosion occurs.
This is anecdotal, but I have 2 barrels here that were shot out with vastly different numbers of shots in each just by powder type. The double base only powder lasted a full 1400 rounds longer than the single base powder.
