Ruger M77 mark ll 7mag magazine box length

Could someone please give me the measurement for a 7mag. Thanks

A random sample from my ammo box shows 3.400 as the average overall length in the batch. These loads fit in the box with about 15thou clearance for reliable feeding. Bullets are Berger VLD 180s, so there is a little variation from tip to tip. All of them feed, I check before boxing them up.

I just went an measured the mag box on my old 77 MKII stainless all-weather 7mm RemMag(mid-to-late 90's model), and it measures out at 3.430".

My hunting rounds that are designed specifically to fit in the mag box of my Browning A-Bolt II 7mm RemMag, clear just fine in the mag box of my Ruger, and they are Berger 168 VLD's seated to 2.673" from base to ogive.
