For Sale: Ruger M77 Rifle with tang safety in 338 Winchester Magnum. Rifle has factory 24" barrel, the original Ruger red buttstock Pad, and 1 " Ruger scope rings. SN: 771-53xxx which indicates it was made in 1988. This era rifle allows you to lift the bolt with the safety on, and the underside of the bolt handle has the "T" etched into it indicating the trigger overtravel adjustment set screw has been epoxied into place at the factory.
I bought the rifle in Fairbanks, AK back in 1998 from the original owner. The stock has been glass bedded and the rifle shoots exceptionally well. The original owner spent a lot of time in a river boat and the stock has some nicks and scratches from use.
The last time I hunted moose with it was in 1999/2000 and it has been sitting in my safe since. I have shot ~ 80-100 rounds through it. Also included are a set of Warne Maxima series gloss steel 1" rings.
