...The kids both want Boyd's Pro-Varmint stocks for them.

Do It. I did for my Ruger American Rimfire. Combined with a Timney trigger. Whahoo.

When I get rid of my R700s I'm replacing them with RAR or RPR The RARs will automatically get a Pro-Varmint with adjustable cheek rest. Sometimes in walnut sometimes laminate.

I'm on the hunt for a great 270....and the RAR has really caught my eye.

They are selling for less than $300 and shooting about as good as anything, as best I can tell.

Anyone with updated reports???? .....especially in 270?

My son is wanting a varmit long range rifle in 6.5 cm or 6mm don't know much about the ruger American are they built good and how is the accuracy .haven't been able to put hands on one to see thanks

I have the 243 Bronze ceracoat go wild predator 9 twist Ruger, shooting 95gr SST @3180 suppressed .4moa. Killing machine for black bear, antelope, hogs, sheep and deer. Shot many hogs over 400 and 500yds in hay fields with this load some animals a little over 300lbs. Just super pleasant to shoot.
