RRS Tripod Lever Issues

Curious if anyone has ever had issues with their RRS arca rail lever not tightening enough? I know the washers wear down eventually and there's no way to tighten anything. There's a drive pin that can be removed it looks like and new washers can be installed. Anyone have experience with this?

Only the newer sc-arc clamp has adjustable clamp tension. None of the others can be modified. I've tried with different washers, etc., to no avail.

Do you think I could/should send it back to RRS and they could fix it?

You can certainly ask them especially if it once clamped tight and now does not. The problem, they will say, is that not everyone makes the rails to the same dimensions. If you're clamping to an RRS rail it should work, full stop.
