i think the biggest question you need to answer in your ad before hand is-
are you a certified hazmat shipper?
... or specify a face-to-face only transaction.

They won't touch it. They will act as though it's anthrax. Plus, you need to have the driver pick it up from your home with proper packaging and labels.

No Sir! UPS accepts hazardous materials on a contract basis only, but when in doubt, call them directly. A face-to-face transaction is your best course of action.

The "shipper" is "responsible" for the HAZMAT requirements. UPS is the "transporter" and is not responsible for labeling, packaging, legal liability for damages during shipment except for their negligence but even then the shipper is brought in as well. As a shipper you are responsible for "cradle to grave" of any HAZMAT during shipment. This legal responsibility drives the cost of HAZMAT shipping that includes employee documented training, programs, emergency response during shipment, proper packaging and labeling, insurance etc.
This is a BIG DEAL LEGAL REQUIREMENT! Lots of internal costs and POTENTIAL liability.
Just think of Jet Blue in Everglades over improper shipping.
