Rl26. 210vld 300 rum

I am going to start playing with seating depth on my 300 rum with Berger 210 vld hunters. I'm going to try with rl26, maybe someone has an idea where I should start with powder charge. I was thinking 83 grains, but can't find much info online.

The below link is about the closest I can find for the 300 RUM with RL26 and it's for a 200gr Accubond. Good luck with it..

Has anyone tried this powder yet using 200 AB in your 300 RUM? I'm curious if there is any velocity gain over the RL-25 that I'm currently using. Where can one find load data on this new powder? My local gunsmith has RL-23 & RL-26 in stock. Don

I finally got out today to test, 83 grains rl26 3 shot groups starting at .010 jump, .050, .090 and .130. I think from here out it's just a matter of playing with powder charge. I did not have a chronograph today

Yeah, that .090 depth couldn't get much better. As long as you were nowhere near a powder node for this test that depth ought to be solid. Looking good so far!
