Could someone post the load data for the 6.5cm rl16 and the berger hybrid hunting bullet please.
Thanx

I looked through my notes and found this:
Starline LP brass
40.6 grns RL 16
CCI 450 primer
Berger 140 Hybrid Target
Loaded .120 OTL
but this is in my rifle and looking for accuracy only not speed
Here is another one for a different rifle cut with the same reamer:
40.8 grns RL16
CCI 450
Berger 140 Hybrid Target
Loaded .050 OTL (and did a full seating depth test and .050 was the spot.)
these loads were safe in my rifle but start lower and work up. Some claim to load a lot higher than this but they must be at a higher altitude with less humidity. YMMV

Petersen SRP
CCI 450
Rl16
.090 OTL
42.2g
2730fps
140 VLD, sorry, not the hybrid target

I recently put this In QL and found I was real close to max PSI, 18 times fired brass and a barrel that twisted loose (smith installed, scary discovery) in my hand and only now have I seen a hint of pressure. Still not sure if pressure finally showed because of the barrel, or the brass, or cause I'm a ding dong and must've been too **** close to begin with.

My Berger load manual (1st edition) doesn't list RL16 for the 140's ... Neither does Nosler's online load data or Hornady's 10th edition.

Online App Subscription to Hornady 11th edition shows the following for the 6.5 Creedmoor:
  • Rem700/Custom
  • 24" bbl 1:8 twist
  • Hornady case
  • Fed 210M primer
  • 1.920" max case length
  • 1.910" case trim to length

140-143gr bullets @ COL=2.800":

RL16 35.3gr@2400fps --> 42.1@2800fps

I found my best accuracy with 41gr R16 behind both the 140gr Elite Hunter and the 140gr HVLD in Alpha brass. Both my match gun with its 24" M24 contour Bartlein and my hunting rig with its 24" #3 contour Bartlein shoot this load amazingly well, with my match gun putting 5 shots in the .1s to .2s from the prone.

I developed a load for my brother in law last fall. Lapua large primer brass, 41.5gr of RL 16, 210M, 140gr Berger hybrid. 26" Bartlein barrel, load came in at 2870fps. We had taken it up to 42gr w/o primer pocket damage.
If I recall, somewhere around 43 gr was max when entering our parameters in QL, case cap, OAL, etc..

From Alliant site, but Hornady brass which seems to have kore capacity than most premium brass.
