Doing load development in the 338-378 Weatherby and my 338 Lapua. The Weatherby put out some blistering speeds of 3227 fps loaded with the New RL 26 powder and a 250 gr Nosler LRAB! Compared to using my top load ofRL33 in the Lapua pushing one 2877. All loads ran across a Magento Speed V3. Standard deviations were less than 12 fps. I loaded the Weatherby case 4 times so far and am noticing a little sign of wearing out, you might get 5 loads max out of these cases. Groups averaged .424 inch!

Amazing performance without the hassle of wildcatting or fireforming!

My buddy ran 3150 with 300 grain Bergers and RE33 and showed no sign of pressure. The gun shot better groups at 1000 yards when he slowed them down to 3000. It shot a 5 shot group a hair over 4 inches and 4 of them were under 2 inches. Matt

That's impressive! I keep looking for some RL 26 and 23 but have found none locally. I might have to suck it up and pay the shipping charges.
