Is anyone useing this powder in 22-250 or 30-06? I've tryed in the 06 with not so good results.I really would like to use it,but if not does some one have some loads in these two cal?

I started fooling with RL17 in the 06 about a year ago. The most accurate load to date is 53gr using the 190gr Berger with a COAL of 3.345 which is .070 off the lands and at 2710fps. Quick Load shows when above 53gr pay close attention to pressure.

I have some R17 for 6.5 Creedmoor. It's like IMR4350. In fact, Alliant said to use 4350 data when there is no R17 data.

For 22-250, I have only used Varget, so I would recommend R-15 over R-17.

For 30-06, R-17 should be great since 30-06 is happy with R-15 through R19.

RL 17 very good in 338-06 A Square with 225 gr bullets

2700 FPS with 225gr Hornady
WW brass and WLRM primers at 61.0

Weatherby UL with 24"

Hornady prints load data for the A-MAX 6.5 Creedmoor on the side of the box. I think it is H4831 for the 140gr A-Max.
