Ring height for atacr

So my wife is putting together a Christensen arms 338 lapua mpr it has a 20 moa rail on it. She ordered an atacr 7-35x56 nightforce recommend 1.5" rings that seems like it would be way high? Is it possible they didn't take into account the rail when she told them what gun she is shooting?

Remember, the MPR has a barrel shroud like an AR style rifle. That is why they suggested the 1.5" high rings.
Take that into account. If it didn't have the shroud, a .92" 34mm ring would probably clear.

Just took a look and it's not a true flat top so you might get away with 1.26" height rings. The 1.5" area is a true safe bet.

Was hoping maybe someone had already Tried this I searched and didn't find a answer. There's is a pretty solid chance my impatient wife has both ordered already.

That would be the best way to try both and see what fits you best. The difference is small so not a big deal especially with the adjustable comb on the chassis.
