Rifling Orientation

Maybe a stupid query but which is better, lh or rh twist for rifling?

Doesn't seem like it would matter? A left handed Q-back passes as good as a right handed one. The ball just spirals the other direction?

I've heard that a twist the opposite of your dominant hand is best as that way the rotational recoil goes into your body not away from (left for righties and right for lefties) --- but do you really have much of a choice?

Not to get off topic but, the 7mm-08 ai i had built has right handed rifling ang left hand spiral fluting. I figured it might help with barrel harmonics. Not sure on this at all. But it does fire form sub .5 moa with Federal Fusions
