That's a bit stout for a lightweight rifle. Even worse, I used to have one in 340 Wby!!!

I know! haha I have a 5lb 5oz 300 RUM Strata and its a beast...

Lex does make a Classic model that is normal weight, but the light Stratas are best when chambered in the 308, 260, 270, 6.5x55 or 6.5 Creedmoor range.

Agreed. There's a 26 Nosler Classic on Gunbroker as well.

I am amazed by these rifles. Recoil on my 300 WM is tame.

I have a .338 Win. Strata and don't find it any more objectionable than a 12 ga.

Well I ordered one in .35 Whelen, and I bought the titanium Strata in 7mm STW. Would love one more, would prefer a .338 magnum or even a .300 Mag yet.
