Rifle + Electronics restrictions ?

Hi, I hope this is in the right section.

I recently read that in Idaho, there are restrictions on hunting with electronics on your rifle, such as specialized scopes, etc. I assume that this is in place to keep hunting from becoming like fishing has, sort of the guy with the best depth finder wins.

Are their other states that also have this kind of "hunting with electronics on your rifle" ? The reason I ask is that I am considering some options, and nearly all of them use batteries except for super simple versions.
