Thanks. I usually pass on sows these days unless they are causing me a problem. However, big boar hogs, like coyotes, are always on my radar, especially a boar that's bumping my tripod feeders - cause that just ain't right.Yes, Sir! .280 brings home the BACON!!!
Very Nice!
We feed year round and generally we've been pretty lucky with the bumping feeder thing over the years, but every now and then we encounter a hog, almost always a big boar, who just can't help himself. We hang a trail camera to determine the guilty party and specifically hunt it until it's gone. Here's a nice boar I took yesterday morning in our hay pasture.Nice one. Glad to see him resting peacefully.
I can relate about the feeder issue. Very annoying for feeders w/o a pen around them.
Why pass on the baby pig makers? I'd think you'd want them all dead? Thanks. I usually pass on sows these days unless they are causing me a problem. However, big boar hogs, like coyotes, are always on my radar, especially a boar that's bumping my tripod feeders - cause that just ain't right.
