Retumbo w/ no lot#

Has anyone ever received any Hodgdon powder that did not have a lot number? I plan to call them today.

I have a 8lb keg of Retumbo exactly like that, absolutely no lot number or information on it.

I'm pretty sure the top row of numbers listed represents when it was manufactured - 1 lb container 01/18/22. If it was an 8 lb jug, the first row of numbers would start with an "8".

Bottom row is your lot number.

Here are 3 jugs of Retumbo 2ea from 2016 have same date and lot number and one from 2021

Hodgdon said they were unaware and not sure how it could happen. They are going to get back with me.

Just checked some recent purchases - H4350, H4831SC and Varget made in '21 and '22 and all have lot numbers. I do have one where the lot number is very close to the edge of the label. I wonder if somehow the lot number is being stamped on the label on the bottle "out of phase" and the lot number ends up on the black plastic area between the two ends of the label?
