Has anyone purchased any reloading supplies on Instagram? A seller that goes by reloading nation has Retumbo for sale but only takes PYPL or Zelle and I'm curious if it's legit?

Has anyone been able to find Retumbo anywhere? I've been looking for months now and can't find any.

Hodgdon will only sell direct the things that are in surplus, and their prices will never be competitive because it defeats the purpose of them providing to retailers and allowing retailers to set the prices.

Retumbo comes from ADI in Australia, so Hodgdon and the rest of us are at the mercy of ADI filling the order. ADI gets TONS of orders too from all over the world. They also supply to the Australian military and other militaries. So with Hodgdon only being a middleman and only supplying reloaders, they get what they get, and at whatever priority ADI sets.

Boy that sucks. I've been looking for over 6 months to get some to try with my 28 Nosler but it's the unicorn of powders so far.

It was everywhere like 6 months ago lol. But it sold out quick. You'd think we'd have seen a restock by now. But, who knows how proactive Hodgdon was with their order to ADI, and then who knows how often ADI runs Retumbo and prioritizes it for Hodgdon.

The Ukrainian war has produced a lot of ammo orders and ADI has received orders to provide the powder for some of those ammo requirements. That's another reason for delays and getting out on the back burner regarding priority.
