Nifty matchin rest!

Hmmm, I can't immagine retumbo working in a 243AI. Benchmark or Varget, Yea.

Varget works great in my .243 AI with 70 gr NBTs(3750 fps), but is too fast for the heavies... I use N560 behind 100 grainers for 3200 fps from a 24" tube.. Its good powder for in this cartridge for the heavier bullets...

I have not used Retumbo in my .243 AI, but I have used IMR 7828 with mixed results. The powder gets my 105's or 107's up to speed, about 3300 fps, but the best groups for my gun were not at warp speed, but just under. I have a Win M70 in .243 AI with a 28" 1-8 twist Pac-Nor tube on the standard stock for the Win HV. I hope this helps
