I can't afford Norma brass and lapua doesn't make it for 300. Win mag so please don't suggest either. I can't seem to get my hands on any brass at all but I have 4 different leads I'm looking into that I may be able to get some remington brass out of BC, hornady brass (possibly a lot at a discount), and trying to figure out if a store near by has Winchester but it's not looking great.

So if you had the choice, which is the best?
Was told hornady is softest, but best quality control?

My son uses Hornady for his 25-06 with very good concentricity and .330 MOA. I personally have bad nightmares about Winchester brass and Remington is OK. Check this forum, I know some member is always selling brass for your .300. A few friends have purchased several boxes of Hornady factory loads to break in their barrels and have once fired brass as a bonus if new brass isn't available. Just my personal experience. Good luck

In this environment any brass is good brass. Been watching for 300 WM brass for 6 months with no luck.
