I know this is an older post but I had to chime in due to the results I got this past weekend. I agree that Remingtons have more options and I have no issues with them. They can be great guns but I am sold on Brownings.
I have a 15 year old A-Bolt .270win. stainless stalker. The only modification I've done is the Tinmey spring. This past weekend, I tested 140gr Bergers and the results were fantastic! The first pic is at 100 yards and the second is at 1000 yards. The white circle is the diameter of a spray paint can.
