Remington heavy barrel .243, born 1973

I'm selling this rifle only because I've picked up too many to keep up these last couple of months. This rifle shoots, I tried one load in it and it was obvious it shoots small. I don't know how to read the date codes very well but if I'm reading it right it says it was produced in December of 1973 which looks about right cosmetically. As far as a round count it looks to have sat in a closet or safe most of its life. The bluing is in good shape, bolt face in good shape, action shows little use. There are a couple of marks near the cheek piece but other than that it shows minor handling marks. The scope and rings are not included. I don't have the filler screws for the action or the front sight. The barrel cleaned up very easily. This is listed on other sites too.

Target. No load development, five shots at 100. Wouldn't take much to get that horizontal under control I'd guess.n
