As I type this there are two on gunbroker.com asking $675 and $900. Both are NIB. Neither have any bids. It's not the most popular 700 model mostly because of expensive ammo.
But it's worth taking elk hunting. It's performance is midway between a 300 H&H and a 300 Rem Ultra.

I paid between $400 and $500 back in 1996 for mine. It's now a 300RUM with a custom barrel. Keep in mind that it only has a skinny little 24" barrel on it, not enough barrel for the potential of the 300Wby, a 26" barreled 300Win is pretty close in performace. If it's a brush gun, it will be fine. They are a nice little rifle though.
