One wonders why anyone bothers with a 700 Action when Savages are self aligning and don't seem to have extraction problems or bolt handle that fall off ?
No one has brought up that Freedom Group bought them and drove them into the ground? QA/QC went to crap around the same time FG took over management. Very sad to see a great one fall.
